Thank you very much for inspecting our car for us last week. You were a terrific help. We were very impressed by how you took the time to explain everything we needed to know, show us what we needed to see with the car, and made sure that we knew everything we needed to know about the car before buying it. Your inspection was very thorough and your written report was sent to us the same day and was very clear. You also followed up with us quickly with an answer to a question that we had afterwards. You could not have done any more for us than you did.

I just wanted to thank you for the thorough check. My partner and I were concerned about the accident damage on this vehicle, but thought that if the repairs were done well it would be ok. Upon reading your inspection, we have now decided not to purchase the car. The overall panel damage and SRS airbag light have made us decide this car unsafe for our family.
Thank you for your work, it’s stopped us from potentially buying a lemon vehicle.

I wanted to personally thank you for your advice and guidance in regards to the Avensis. I have ended up negotiating a purchase price of $20,250 for this and pick it up on Saturday!!!! I feel really comfortable knowing exactly what I am buying and what upcoming costs are associated with this vehicle.

Just looked at Ray’s inspection report and was very impressed by the thoroughness and range of the inspection. I had done a VIN check through carhistory.com.au and the car checked out for lack of encumbrance, write-off history and theft history. The owner’s partner, Tara, saw the whole inspection and said that Ray went through the car with a fine toothed comb. Based on the inspection, I am going ahead with the purchase with a certain peace of mind that the car has the normal wear for its age.
With regards to the service log books – I saw them on Friday night and Mark took them upstairs with him.
I am an NRMA member and most people would only think of them when it comes to vehicle inspections. However, they are restrictive in that they can only take place at certain locations and never at the weekend, when most people need the service.
The MTA check is an excellent service and I was lucky enough to Google it and pick it up by chance – I hope that it is able to be marketed so that people can become aware of it more easily. I found the whole process very easy to go through.
